Stephanie is a registered Psychologist, as well as an AHPRA Board-approved supervisor and brings over 25 years of experience working across various sectors such as child protection, refugee and humanitarian services, Indigenous & Aboriginal mental health, public and acute mental health, and family violence.
Stephanie is trained in CBT, EMDR and Schema Therapy and has extensive expertise in working with Complex Trauma and PTSD, Mood, and anxiety disorders and couples conflict.
At the core of Stephanie’s clinical approach is a commitment to addressing the root causes of psychological symptoms, rather than focusing solely on surface-level relief. She believes that no single therapy works for everyone and she typically blends multiple psychological therapy treatments and techniques to tailor treatment to a client's specific needs. Stephanie’s work with couples and families is geared towards engaging families and significant stakeholders in supporting your mental health recovery.
Stephanie has previously worked as a senior executive in Australia and overseas and is particularly experienced in working with individuals in high-demand and high stress professions. Stephanie is particularly involved in doctors’ mental health over the last 16 years.
Stephanie understands that meeting and finding the right psychologist can feel daunting and time consuming. Stephanie offers an initial free 15-minute consultation for all her clients before they book in a session to help her clients navigate this step. She offers a warm, non-judgemental, private and welcoming therapeutic space, where you can feel safe, respected and supported combined with a clear and structured treatment approach designed towards you achieving your mental health goals..
